What I Ate Wednesday (Bad Blogger Edition)
You know what day it is.
(It’s Wednesday in case you don’t)
You know what comes with Wednesdays.

(What I Ate Wednesday posts.)
You know where to go to check out more posts and to link up.
(Jenn’s blog.)
Let’s get on with it!
Breakfast:
3 egg whites and 1 egg, all scrambled up with a slice of cheese and hot sauce, all rolled up in a multi-grain flat out. On the side was a bowl of organic blueberries with some coconut butter.
Snack:
Chocolate Raspberry Yogurt. I LOVED this combo. I used one container of plain Chobani Greek yogurt, and added 4 drops of this stuff:
Then I added 1 tsp of Madre Labs Coco Cardio (hence the pretty pink color from the beet juice extract) and some dark chocolate chips. So good!
Lunch:
Mommy and Son platters! Carter had some mini cheese pizzas with strawberries, veggies, and hummus. And I hate a salad with spinach, spring mix, tons of edamame, onion, orange peppers, cucumber slices, and broccoli with hummus and Trader Joe’s Parmesan Ranch dressing.
(Note: Did you notice that I wrote “hate a salad” instead of “ate a salad”. Can we say Freudian slip? I didn’t correct it because I thought it was funny. And for the record, I love salads.
)
This stuff is great. I love ranch dressing, but rarely buy it because it’s just so high in calories in fat. This is only 30 calories in 2 TBSP. It’s very low in fat and sodium and tastes delicious. I even dipped some homemade fries in the other night and it was awesome!
And this is where I fail miserably as a blogger.
I didn’t take pictures of my afternoon pick-me-up or dinner. Gasp! I know, right? A blogger who doesn’t take a picture is like a dog that forgets to bark. It just shouldn’t happen.
So use your imagination.
I had a smoothie made with frozen bananas, almond milk, peanut flour, and a drizzle of peanut butter on top.
Yes, it was REALLY good.
Dinner was a shrimp and veggie stir-fry.
And I’m off!
Tell Me:
Best thing you ate today – Go!

i have been getting super hungry post-breakfast, pre-lunch, so this morning i made a protein pancake topped with protein frosting. this included TWO scoops of protein powder, oats, and peanut butter (among other ingredients) so it better do the job!!
that dressing looks great – must try!
Protein packed breakfasts are the best! Sounds like you got your protein fix for the morning
I need to try that sweetener but wish it wasn’t so expensive!! Your snack with it looks so good!
Happy Wednesday love!
I know – I won a gift certificate from a giveaway so that’s why I bought this one and the mint one. But they’re really yummy and last sooooooo long so it’s worth the investment
Bahaha, I was just about to say “Hey Lindsay you typed hate instead of had!” but you knew that already
Looks delicious!
Yep – I just had to leave it in there. It was too perfect to delete
Love that dressing!!
And love how we are always making similar things… just made chocolate yogurt
xoxo
The dressing is amazing! In my refrigerator right now I have the Cranberry Gorgonzola, the Spicy Peanut Dressing, the Ranch, and Champagne Pear Vinagrette. They’re the BEST!
Will you make me lunch tooooo???
I’m totally looking for that dressing next time I’m at TJs. I think Joe has the best dressings in town.
TJ’s really does have the best dressings. I have the Cranberry Gorgonzola, Spicy Peanut, Champagne Pear, and Ranch and they’re all incredible. All are in the same section as the hummus and tofu.
Mmmm, your eats look AMAZING!!! The best thing I ate today was my morning Shake!! I have this Shake Mix that tastes like Cake Mix that tones me up and keeps me full, so I LIVE for it
I put frozen blueberries in and I die…swoon!!
xxoo
A cake batter protein shake would seriously be to die for – that’s like a dream! What brand is it?
I have a couple jars of coconut butter, but I haven’t been brave enough to try it yet…maybe I’ll try some with fruit
I laughed at the “I hate a salad” comment and love that you left it! I’m going to have to look for that dressing when I go to TJ’s next. You can never have too many varities right?
Oh my goodness – Coconut butter is delicious! I love putting it on oatmeal, fruit, toast, waffles – anything. It’s so good!
I love those stevia flavor things! I have the english toffee one!!!
English toffee would be AMAZING!
I love the breakfast!!
